Logistica Solutions is currently looking for someone who is dynamic and motivated to fill the full-time accounting technician position at our Sherbrooke office. Key tasks:

  • Creation of new accounts receivable and credit investigations;
  • Data entry;
  • Matching supplier invoices to customer records;
  • Payment of suppliers according to established terms;
  • Bank reconciliations;
  • General accounting;
  • Operational support.

Profile:

  • Functional bilingualism;
  • Resourcefulness and positive attitude;
  • Sound management of time and priorities;
  • DEP in accounting or equivalent;
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Knowledge of Sage 50 (an asset).

Logistica Solutions is currently looking for a full-time, permanent, international transportation logistics coordinator. In collaboration with the operations manager, you will be responsible for coordinating global shipping activities through various ground, sea, and air carriers.

Your professional responsibilities

  • Analyze transportation modes that best meet the needs of customers;
  • Request quotes and negotiate costs with carriers;
  • Fill out and process all documentation necessary for importing and exporting goods;
  • Forward delivery documents to customers, shippers, suppliers, and freight forwarders;
  • Ensure strict compliance with laws and regulations concerning transportation according to the standards of each country involved;
  • Meet established delivery timeframes and follow up as necessary;
  • Develop and maintain harmonious and sustainable relationships with customers, suppliers, and carriers;
  • Keep data in the management computer system up to date;
  • Ensure effective logistics management and participate in continuous operational improvement.

Requirements

  • DCS completed, ideally in a discipline related to logistics, operations, or transportation;
  • Ideally, one year of professional experience in a position involving contacts with overseas clientele;
  • Full English proficiency, oral and written, and intermediate knowledge of French;
  • Quick learner capable of using a variety of IT tools (including Office Suite);
  • Sound management of time and priorities;
  • Strong skills in communication, negotiation, and establishment of good business relationships;
  • Capable of coordinating multiple cases at once and working under pressure;
  • Meticulousness, autonomy, professionalism, and good judgment.
